The Invitation

Every Year, the modern world asks you to run faster, produce more, and push through the dark months as though they don't exist. But for thousands of years, across Celtic, Germanic, and broader European traditions, people did the opposite. They paused at eight sacred points in the year to honor what the earth- and their own loves - were doing. This class is the first half of that journey: from the close of the harvest through the return of spring.

You'll walk through:

  • Samhain

    The thinning of the veil, honoring the dead, and the wisdom found in endings.

  • Yule

    The longest night, the rebirth of the sun, and the quiet power of stillness.

  • Imbolc

    The first stirring of light, purification, and the seeds of new intention.

  • Ostara

    Balance, fertility, and the surge of new beginnings.

Together, they trace one of the oldest stories there is:

Birth • Growth • Abundance • Decline • Death • Rebirth
