Stepping into the elements of Wicca: Earth·Fire·Water·Air

Starting Sunday, March 8th 1-4pm

Normal Price: $400 Early Bird Special: $275

Early Bird Special Deadline: Midnight March 6th

Wicca is one of the most widely practiced Pagan religions, rooted in a deep reverence for nature, the cycles of the Earth, and the art of witchcraft. This four-class workshop is intentionally structured around the Four Sacred Elements: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air offering a balanced and immersive foundation for understanding Wiccan practice.

Guided by Heather Greene, a 3rd degree Wiccan priestess, each class explores one element and its spiritual meaning, correspondences, and role within Wicca. Along the way, you’ll learn about the history of Wicca, its core beliefs and ethics, ritual practices, magic, and how to begin forming a personal spiritual connection to the Craft.

Whether you’re simply curious about Wicca or feeling called to step onto the path yourself, this four-part series offers a grounded, respectful, and illuminating introduction, guided by the wisdom of the elements and the rhythms of nature.

Class One: Foundations (Earth)

Students will learn the foundation of Wicca - its origins, its history, the founding witches who brought it to us. We will go over key definitions, phrases, terms.  Then in the second hour, we will discuss energy, animism, the elements as the building blocks for magical work.  This will include a discussion of meditation and visualization.

Class Two: Doing the Magic (Fire)

Students will learn about the doing of "Witchcraft".

What is a spell?

What is a ritual?

We'll go over the witches pyramid and the lessons of magic.

We'll then discuss correspondences: how herbs, stones, the stars and other elements add and layer spells. In the second hour, we'll  discuss magical intent, building energy, follow-through, as well as ethics.

Class Three: The Spiritual World (Water)

Students will learn about the gods and goddesses of the Wiccan world.  We'll also chat about spirits, ancestors and land spirits.

What is mediumship? Then we'll discuss divination, including tarot, scrying, pendulums and other ways of communicating with the world beyond.  In the second half, we'll talk about the progress of the soul on the Wheel of the Year and our own spirit, memory, and the importance of connection.

Class Four: Communication and Learning (Air)

Students will learn about the Wheel of the Year, community building, and how to lift our voices in a world where we are the minority.

We will look at other forms magical practices both religious and not.  We'll also talk about words and the power of names. In the second half, we will put it all together from the basic elements to the deity to create a small ritual that honors our work in the name of the Lady and Lord.
